The Loneliest Part of Starting Something New

So here I am with another late night vlog of what I overthink... Basically, people! They don’t tell you this when you start chasing your dreams. What it is? Why it can get lonely. Not because people disappear, but because suddenly, the conversations feel different. Everyone thinks you are crazy af and you really have no sense of business or vlogging or content creation, yet you choose to do. This is indifferent.

When People Don’t Understand

You tell someone, “I’m starting something of my own.”They smile politely but they think you are not gonna succeed. Not at all. Then the questions come:

  • “Are you sure, it will work?"

  • “What if it doesn’t work? Do you have a better plan? I don't suggest you to do something like this”

  • “Why leave something stable? Job gives you decent salary”

And suddenly, you’re explaining your dream to people who were never meant to carry it.

The Silence Between Support and Doubt

It’s not that people don’t care, some care, some envy, some hate you and some are just jealous that you are doing. It’s just that they don’t get it. You’ll find yourself sitting at your desk, coffee in hand, staring at a plan no one else believes in but you. That silence can be heavy. But it also becomes your training ground.

The Unexpected Allies

Here’s the twist: support shows up where you least expect it.

  • A friend who texts, “Don’t stop, I believe in you.”

  • A stranger online who says, “This inspired me.”

  • Or even the quiet pride in your own reflection when you realize you didn’t quit today.

These moments remind you you’re not really alone.

Why Loneliness Isn’t the Villain

At first, the loneliness feels like a punishment. But then, you realize it’s also your gift.Because in that space, away from the noise, you start hearing your own voice clearly for the first time. And that voice? That’s where the real dream lives.

So yes, starting something new can feel lonely. But it’s in that loneliness that you grow roots. That’s where resilience is built. That’s where clarity is born. That's where a new you will be in front of world. That's where you are meant to be. And even if it doesn't work, what't the problem? You have your 9 to 5 still there at lease enough for you to survive and not live with regrets that you didn't do :)

And one day if you get success, when the noise of doubt turns into the applause of people who finally see what you built you’ll know that the lonely nights were never empty. They were sacred.
